Adam Eason: Cellist, Composer, and Teacher


Adam performs as a freelancer in Portland, Oregon. In addition to playing classical repertoire, he makes a point to reach out to and perform the music of composers of new music. He also performs new music he has written for himself. 

Cello Teacher:

Adam teaches cello lessons in West Linn and Lake Oswego, Oregon, as well as in the greater Portland area. Most recently, he has begun teaching at Mosaic String Academy. Adam works with his students to fit music into their life in the healthiest, most satisfying way.


Adam was featured as a composer and performer at the 2018 Oregon Bach Festival Composer’s Symposium. In addition, he has been featured as a composer-performer in Classical Revolution PDX’s “Trans-Genre Project." Other recent performances include music played by the Boise Wind Quintet, as well as several pieces featured on the local Cascadia Composers concert series.
